Banff is beautiful and canalta lodge is the cherry on top!

The beauty of Banff AB is undeniable. People come from all over the world to breathe in that mountain air, enjoy the snow capped eye candy that is the Rocky Mountains and catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights (if your lucky). Over and above Banff being a destination for skiers and snowboarders, there’s no shortage of things to see and do. Get high, by taking the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain . I prefer to chase waterfalls, may I suggest Bow Falls. After a full day of adventure it’s important to rest. Canalta Lodge is more than just somewhere to lay your head for the night. It’s a place to rest, relax and recharge. Conveniently located on Banff Ave and within walking distance from restaurants, shopping and pubs. You don’t need to stray far from the hotel to feed and water yourself with The Happy Camper Cafe & Bar onsite. Sip sip hooray during Happy Hour, Campari Spritz was my personal favorite due to the bubbly. Chat up the bartender while you enjoy something from the kitchen. Za’atar Bread hit the spot if your a feta cheese fan like me. Or grab and go because you’ve got people to see and places to be, like the mountain or your room. HDTV’s , complementary WiFi , fireplace and complimentary breakfast OH MY! My dad raised me to never pass up a hotel with complementary breakfast and never miss a morning. Fill your plate and have breakfast in bed or make new friends by dining in the lobby lounge. A place to eat breakfast for some, others it’s a place to play board games with friends. If you’d prefer take the games outside there’s a courtyard, complete with picnic tables, firetables, hot/cold pools, sauna and more. Sitting around the firetable isn’t complete without swinging by the front desk for marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate to make s’mores. Fur friends are encouraged! Maybe you’ve been to Banff before or it’s your first time, Canalta Lodge exceeded my expectations the same way Banff does every single time!
